It's great to meet you here and I hope to meet you in person soon! I love bringing people together and somehow have always done so through organising meet ups and other ways of connecting people. I got the travel bug in 2013 when backpacking and working in Australia at the fine age of 19 for a year of renovating houses, cleaning festivals and making Melbourne's greatest coffee. Ever since, I have not returned home, and lived and worked in Indonesia, the US, Rwanda, South Africa, the Netherlands and Spain. While working as a sustainability consultant for plastics & circular economy, I longed for the type of community that I experienced during my travels which gave me the idea for Remote Roots while meditating in a park in Oaxaca City, Mexico in February 2023.
