Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") set out the terms and conditions under which you ("you" or "Participant") may participate in a coliving experience (the "Colive") offered by Remote Roots (the "Company").

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Colive, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. You must also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

 

3. Payment and Fees

The Participant must pay the full cost of the Colive at the time of booking, which will be clearly specified on the Company's website. Any additional charges or fees, such as transportation or optional activities, won't be included in the Colive price. The Company reserves the right to cancel the Participant's reservation if payment is not received in full by the specified date as mentioned in the confirmation email.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

The Participant may cancel their reservation at any time by contacting the Company in writing. The following refund policy applies:

• If cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the start of the Colive, the Participant will get a full refund or be able to transfer the paid credit to another Colive experience in the future, as per Participant's preference.

• If cancellation is made less than 60 days before the start of the Colive, no refund will be given.

In the event that the Company cancels the Colive, the Participant will receive a full refund of the fees paid. The company reserves the right to cancel the Colive up to 30 days before the start of the Colive.

5. Participant Conduct

The Participant agrees to behave in a respectful and responsible manner during the Colive, and to follow any rules or instructions provided by the Company or its representatives. The Participant agrees to respect the privacy and personal space of others and to refrain from engaging in any behavior that could cause harm to themselves or others, including but not limited to the use of drugs or alcohol.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property resulting from participation in the Colive, unless such injury, loss, or damage is caused by the Company's gross negligence or willful misconduct. The Company is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Colive, including but not limited to lost profits or lost opportunities.

7. Privacy Policy

The Company will collect and process personal data of the Participant in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its privacy policy, which can be found on the Company's website. By agreeing to join the first two experimental Colives, the participants agree to content being created where they might be seen, and published on social channels of Remote Roots later.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.

 

9. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Participant and the Company with respect to the Colive and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral. Any amendment to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

By booking a Colive with the Company through reservation and payment, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
